Are you ready?

4 Jan 2019

2018 was a pretty special year for British Swimming, with success at the Commonwealth Games in Australia, the European Championships in Glasgow, the European Para-Swimming Championships in Dublin and at a number of junior international meetings around the world.

However, we believe 2019 is going to be bigger and better. Our line-up of domestic events is stronger than ever, with the FINA World Diving Series event returning to London in May for the first time in four years. Then there’s the European Short Course Swimming Championships in Glasgow in December, with our swimmers hoping to feed off the energy of the fabulous Glaswegian crowd, and sandwiched in between are the World Aquatics Championships and World Para Swimming Championships in South Korea and Malaysia respectively.

With just 18 months to go until the Tokyo 2020 Olympic & Paralympics Games, 2019 is a key year for everyone involved in aquatics and we can’t wait for it to get underway at the National Diving Cup in Plymouth in four weeks’ time.

Tickets for a number of our events are already on sale, with most others being released next week. To see our full events calendar and to buy tickets please click here.
