Gwangju 2019 schedule published

A full and detailed competition schedule for the 18th FINA World Aquatics Championships in Gwangju, South Korea is now available.

Athletes from six aquatic disciplines will converge on the southern city to contest for the title of World Champion in five venues, across 17 days of action.

The opening day of the championships will see the start of both the diving and artistic swimming events at the Nambu International Aquatics Centre and Yeomju Gymnasium respectively.

The first medal event of Gwangju 2019 will be awarded in the Men’s 5km open water swim on Saturday 13th July at the Yeosu Expo Ocean Park, with the event being brought to a close with the Men’s 4x100m Medley Relay.

At the 2017 World Championships, the 51-strong British contingent won a total of 11 medals across four sports, including Tom Daley’s return to the top of the podium in the Men’s 10m Platform and Adam Peaty successfully defended his 50m and 100m Breaststroke titles.
