Daniel Fogg will hope to repeat last year’s gold winning performance as the 2014 FINA 10km Marathon Swimming World Cup gets underway in Argentina this weekend.
The annual elite-level competition is organised around seven meets and takes place in some of the world's most outstanding natural freshwater and saltwater locations.
In 2013 British Gas Loughborough ITC swimmer Fogg became the first Brit to win on the FINA 10km Marathon World Cup circuit with victory in the fourth stage of the competition in Mexico.
Seven British athletes will be taking part in the Patagones-Viedma meet on 1 February including Danielle Huskisson and Tom Allen who both finished the year in great form with golds in the 10km at the Cyprus International Swimming Marathon.
