Plymouth Leander’s Ben Proud has knocked 0.03 off the British record in the 50m Freestyle at the British Universities and College Sport Swimming Championships.
Proud swam in the 50m Freestyle in Sheffield and showed his cintinued improvement to set the British standard to 21.73.
His previous standard was set at 21.76 which he set at the Commonwealth Games in 2014.
