British Swimming would like to sincerely thank everyone who has helped make the Edinburgh International Swim Meet incorporating British Swimming Championships 2018 such a successful event.
In the face of Edinburgh’s first ever red weather warning the volunteers, staff, suppliers, partners, athletes, parents and coaches all pulled together to stage a successful and safe event which we hope was enjoyed by all who attended.
We particularly want to thank the parents and coaches of athletes who travelled for hours, unplanned in many cases, to get to Edinburgh in the adverse conditions.
Whilst we have seen some fantastic achievements in the pool, everyone involved out of the water should also be proud of their part in putting on a world class event.
