Adele is a business specialist who has worked in
numerous sporting roles, such as London 2012, Formula 1 and for the
International Paralympic Committee.
She is a Board Director of the National Governing Body for British Swimming and Taekwondo, recently appointed Chairman of Taekwondo Organisation Limited. Adele is also a Director of the LEN 2016 European Swimming Championships and a Director on the Performance Management Group for British Diving. Adele has been a Board Director of the British Athletes Commission since January 2014.
Adele was appointed Director of British Swimming in 2013, after spending over 4 years at London 2012 where she was Head of Transport Business and also led LOCOG’s work on accessibility. She is now the strategy adviser to the International Paralympic Committee and has been supporting Rio 2016 Paralympic transport preparations. Adele is Vice-Chairman and a competing athlete for Newham and Essex Beagles AC and at University represented England in Hockey, where she was awarded a Blue.
