The media accreditation process for the London 2019 World Para Swimming Championships opens today, Wednesday 12 June.
World Para
Swimming and British Swimming are pleased to invite written press,
photographers and non-rights holding TV and radio organisations that would like
to attend the World Para Swimming Championships to apply for accreditation here.
The World Para Swimming Championships will arrive in the UK capital this autumn for its ninth edition, the London Aquatics Centre on Queen Elizabeth Park, the home of the London 2012 Paralympic Games, welcoming over 600 athletes from 60 different nations.
Getting
underway on Monday 9th September, the event will run over seven days and
feature the biggest names in para-swimming, include Great Britain’s very own
Ellie Simmonds.
With a multitude of Paralympic, world and continental champions in attendance, more than 130 titles will be contested and the event will also serve as a key qualification event on the road to the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games
