Tom Daley has enjoyed one of the strongest seasons of his career in 2016 with medals at every competition he has competed at including all legs of the World Series legs.
At the end of 2015 Tom was partnered with Dan Goodfellow in the 10m Synchro and the pair haven't looked back.
In May, Tom competed at the European Championships in London and gave the home crowd what they wanted as he won gold in the 10m Platform to back up his gold in the mixed 3m Synchro and the silver that he won alongside Dan in the 10m Synchro.
Tom quickly refocused onto the Olympic Games and he and Dan won bronze in one of the tightest fields in the 10m Synchro.
The winner of the Diving Athlete of the Year award is decided by our panel of judges and will announced during the British Swimming Awards in London on 5 November.
