Tonia Couch and Sarah Barrow progressed from the 10m Platform preliminaries at the Kazan 2015 World Championships.
Competing at her sixth World Championships, Couch was the more consistent of the two, scoring 328.70 to finish ninth with the top 18 of the 37 divers progressing.
European champion Barrow left it late to seal her qualification spot, progressing from 31st with two dives to go to 17th overall after her five dives, scoring 308.90 after a 78.40 for her twister in the final round.
The Brits, who finished sixth in the 10m Synchro earlier in the competition, will return for the semi-final later this afternoon, aiming to book a return to the individual final.
Barrow finished fourth and Couch ninth at the last World Championships in Barcelona two years ago.
