Daley and Reid dive to silver success

Tom Daley and Grace Reid won a mixed 3m synchro silver medal in the second day of competition in the FINA Diving World Series.

The British pair clinched second place with their final dive in China, earning their highest score of 73.47 for their forward 3.5 somersaults pike.

Gold went to the Chinese duo of Han Wang and Zheng Li who scored 331.50 to Daley and Reid's 308.67.Daley and Reid silver China 

It is Daley's second medal of the meet, picking up  a bronze in the synchro platform with Dan Goodfellow.

Earlier in the day Reid and Goodfellow both competed in the individual 3m springboard semi finals and finished 5th and 6th respectively.

This leg of the competition ends tomorrow, when Daley, Lois Toulson and Matty Lee will be looking to make the finals in the individual platform events before Toulson and Lee join forces in the mixed synchro.

The next leg of the FINA world series will take place in Fuji, Japan from 15 to 17 March.
