Elite Juniors day two round-up

A further six junior national titles were contested and shared amongst six clubs on the second day of the British Elite Junior Diving Championships in Plymouth.

City of Leeds diver Anthony Harding was back in action after his silver in the 3m Synchro on day one, he claimed gold in the Boys A 3m Final with a final score of 530.35.

Silver went to Cameron Gammage of Southampton Diving Academy with 479.45 and bronze to Harding’s club mate and synchro partner Oliver Crompton; 458.00 points.

In the Girls A Platform final gold was taken by Eden Cheng of Crystal Palace Diving Club. Cheng diver topped the podium with a final score of 383.05.

Silver went to Emily Martin of Southampton Diving Academy (371.05 points) and Amelia Connonlly, also of Crystal Palace took bronze with a score of 348.95.

Two golds from two events for Dive London’s Tyler Humphreys as he claimed gold in the Boys B 3m Final, a lead of more than 17 points over silver. He recorded a final point’s total of 434.65 to top the podium.

Flanking Humphreys on the podium was Ben Cutmore (Dive London) with 417.60, he collected silver and the bronze medal went to Edinburgh Diving Club’s Danny Mabbott with 375.70.

Clara Kerr of Aberdeen Diving Club topped the Plymouth Life Centre podium in the Girls B Platform Final and claimed gold with 314.00 points.

Crystal Palace Diving Club’s British Championship Platform Synchro partnership of Josie Zillig (300.55 points) and Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix (299.20 points) split the silver and bronze medals respectively.

Sheffield Diving’s Harrison Hartley was junior British Champion in the Boys C 1m Final with a total of 319.20 points.

Silver and bronze went to divers from Southampton Diving Academy, Leon Baker scored 307.80 and took silver, with Milo French taking home bronze after a point’s total of 296.40.

After an opening day silver in the Platform Synchro, Evie Smith of Crystal Palace went one better and secured Girls C 1m gold with 283.35.

Southend Diving’s Jessie Millham clinched silver with a score of 281.85 and bronze to Masie Bond of Sheffield Diving, 281.15.
