Britain’s Ben Cutmore sealed gold and the 2018 European junior title in the Boys B platform competition at the Mäkelänrinne Center in Helsinki.
Cutmore, of Dive London, led throughout all eight rounds of the prelims to comfortably secure his place in the final to contend for the continental junior title.
The four round final saw Ben dominate once again and remained in top position to take the gold with a final score of 429.50, a convincing margin or more than 48 points and also a improvement on his prelims core of 11 points.
Cutmore’s opening two dives on his final list a 305c and 6243d, both broke the 72 point barrier.
Teammate Joseph Pashley of Sheffield Diving dropped out of the medals in the closing two rounds of the final to finish sixth overall.

Aidan Heslop (Plymouth Diving) and Lucas Thomson (Edinburgh Diving) claimed bronze in the Boys Synchro Platform. The British pair finish with a point’s total of 276.84, only 38.22 of the title winning score.
The podium was topped by the Russian pair of Aleksandr Lebedev and Ruslan Ternovoi with 315.06 and silver went to Yevhen Naumenko and Oleh Serbin of Ukraine with 281.94.
Also in action for Great Britain on the fourth day of competition in Finland was Leeds-based Callie Eaglestone in the Girls B 1m Springboard event.
With a score of 284.50 in the prelims Eaglestone ranked 12th and secured a place in the final where she finish ninth overall with 291.65 points.
Great Britain are placed second in the medal table with three days of competition remaining.
