Humphreys scoops three medals at Eight Nations

Young British Divers made a mark at the Eight Nations competition this weekend picking up six medals.

The competition, in Kristiansand, Norway, ended with two golds, two silvers and two bronze medals.

Tyler Humphreys came away with a silver in the 3m and 3m synchro events, the latter alongside Ben Cutmore, scoring a total of 264.45, behind the Spanish pair of Wade and Abadia who scored 282.90.

Humphreys then went on to win the B Boys, 1m competition with a score of 386.70 with Sweden’s  Elias Peterson in second, and British team-mate Cutmore in third.

Maria Papworth and Victoria Vincent won the 3m synchro event, in their first competition together, earning 252.78 points.

Anthony Harding secured a bronze in the A Boys 3m with Oliver Crompton finishing seventh overall.

Elsewhere in the competition, Victoria Vincent finished eighth in the A Girls 3m, with Maria Papworth finishing 10th. In the 1m event Vincent placed sixth with Papworth ninth.

In the A boys 1m, Oliver Crompton finished in sixth position, with Anthony Harding in seventh.

In the B Girls 3m competition Evie Smith placed seventh with Callie Eaglestone in 10th, with the youngster narrowly missing a medal in the 1m competition, finishing in fourth place, with Smith ending in ninth.
