Great Britain’s young divers picked up seven medals at the European Aquatics Junior Diving Championships, while a group of senior divers secured silverware at the World Aquatics recognised Bolzano meet.
A team of 15 junior divers were taken to the European Aquatics Junior Diving Championships in Athens last month, with Todd Geggus and Siena Rae Mills both finishing the meet as multi-medallists as Britain’s young team reaped seven medals throughout the week-long meet.

Geggus secured his first silver of the championships alongside Connor Lano in the Boys 3m Synchro as the pair finished a nip and tick final just 1.02 points away from the gold after a huge Forward 2 ½ Somersaults 2 Twists Pike (5154B) – which carried a 3.4 degree of difficulty – in the penultimate round.
Twenty-four hours later Geggus was back on same step of the podium in the Boys A 3m Springboard as rounded out a strong list with another high quality 5154B dive for 78.20 points to secure his second silver.
Mills first bronze came amid a flurry of British medals on the second day of the championships – with Simeon Grieg’s consistency rewarded with Boys B 1m Springboard bronze, while Jordan Fisher-Eames and Robbie Wood scored a super silver in the Boys Platform Synchro – as she showed resilience to bounce back from a lower-par penultimate round dive with a score of 56.00 for her closing Reverse 2 ½ Somersaults Tuck (305C) to jump up into the medals.

Alongside Amelie Underwood in the Girls 3m Synchro, Mills secured a second bronze. The British pair working their way up the leaderboard following each trip to the springboard across the five rounds to earn third place on an overall total of 259.50 points.

Meanwhile over in Bolzano at the World Aquatics recognised event there was a medal of each colour among the senior British divers attending.
