The British Diving Team secured medals in both the Mixed 10m Synchro and the women’s 10m Synchro at the FINA Grand Prix in Canada.
Competing for the first time as a pair, Matty Lee and Georgia Ward showed good consistency to win their silver medal.
They were almost at 100 points after the required rounds and finished with 74.88 points for the Back 2 ½ Somersaults 1 ½ Twists piked.
They scored a total of 309.60 points to become the first British mixed synchro pair to win a medal since it was introduced by FINA.
Ward returned to the boards in the same session with Robyn Birch and the pair took the bronze just behind home favourites Meaghan Benfeito and Roseline Filion.
Ward and Birch scored a total of 283.26 with their best dive scoring 69.12.
In the women’s 10m Platform, Lois Toulson put in a strong performance in her semi final to finish ahead of Benfeito and secure her place in the final.
In the last event of the competition Toulson (15) took on some of the strongest athletes on the Platform and finished in sixth place with 333.45 – twenty points higher than her semi final.
