The final day of competition at the British National Diving Cup saw Katherine Torrance and Noah Williams on top of the podium to bring the curtain down on the three-day event.
The women’s 3m Springboard was contested by Olympic finalist Grace Reid (Edinburgh Diving) and World Junior 1m Champion Torrance (City of Leeds).
It was Torrance that got the edge in the prelims and showed her hunger for success as the final began.
Torrance’s hardest dive was in the third round and her Front 3 ½ Somersaults piked picked up a total of 65.10.
She won her gold medal with a total of 311.85 which meant that Torrance secured a hat-trick of golds across the Springboard events this weekend.
“I don’t really have any words about my success this weekend,” Torrance said. “I just came to put all of the dives on my head and they went pretty well and to come away with three golds I’m really really happy.
“The World Junior Championships gave me huge confidence coming into this competition. I know its different dives but I really thought hey maybe I have a chance of doing pretty well.
“Competing against Grace adds pressure a bit because Grace is an amazing diver herself so going up against her is hard. At the end of the day I'm just diving for myself, I'm not focusing on anyone else so I just hope it goes well."
The silver was won by Reid with 302.15 points and Millie Fowler (City of Sheffield) won bronze in 259.95 points.
The competition was wide open in the men’s 10m Platform as four athletes battled it out for the gold medal.
Dan Goodfellow (City of Leeds), Matthew Dixon (Plymouth Diving), Matty Lee (City of Leeds) and Noah Williams (Dive London) were all in contention for medals from the start of the final.
