Toulson takes World junior silver

Lois Toulson finished the Girl's A Platform final second and secured silver for Great Britain on the penultimate day of the FINA World Junior Diving Championships in Russia.

The 2016 Olympian dived consistently throughout the four round final, she closed with a score of 430.40 and claimed her medal in the Kazan Aquatics Palace.

Toulson was joined on the podium by Canda's Olivia Chamandy in the bronze medal berth (429.80) and Germany's Elena Wassen topped the rankings with a score of 430.70 to take gold.

London-based Shanice Lobb also competed in the Girl's A Platform event and finished the prelims ranked 13th and a score of 369.20 and narrowly missed out on a place in the final.
