Young divers to head to Scotland

4 May 2018

A nineteen strong squad of young divers will be honing their skills at week long camp in Aberdeen from the 28 May – 2 June.

The British divers, including Commonwealth Wales’ first diver in more than 20 years - Aidan Heslop, will be attending the camp at the end of the month.

Team Leader Julian Bellan said: “Our junior divers have already put in some great performances this year, bringing back medals from Dresden and Norway, as well as the Elite Juniors in Plymouth.

“We even secured four medals in a senior competition at the Ukraine Open, which was a great experience as it will be the venue for the World Junior Championships in July.

“But this camp will be the chance to build on technique, train together as a squad and develop new and established synchro pairings.”
