Glasgow 2018: What you need to know

3 Jul 2018

The Glasgow 2018 European Championships are now less that a month away - here's what you need to know to keep across all the events.

When is it?

Glasgow 2018 will take place from August 2 to 12 and combine the European Championships across seven different sports for the first time ever.

Aquatics will be represented across swimming, diving, open water swimming and synchronised swimming.

Once all events are finished the nation with the most medals will be presented with a trophy at George Square in Glasgow at a gala event.

Will I be able to watch it?

Yes, the BBC has committed to covering every day's sport from 9am to 9pm across BBC1, BBC2 and via the red button.

We don't know the full schedule yet, but you will definitely be able to catch your favourite sports either live or on a highlights show.

Can I still get tickets?

Yes, tickets are still available from here.

You can watch the Open Water swimming for free.
