Overview:
Seven days of high-quality racing await at Ponds Forge, Sheffield for what promises to be a key end-of-season competition opportunity for every athlete involved across a busy programme.

The stage is set for the British Summer Championships, with 1500 swimmers and 256 clubs set to be represented in the pool at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre between 22nd and 28th July, marking one of the biggest events on the British Swimming calendar.
The action-packed week will crown Summer Championship medallists in five age categories for both men's and women's racing, with para-swimming event winners determined by the British Para-Swimming points under the Multi-Classification competition format.
Who will be competing?:
Whilst the British Swimming team gets ready to dive into action at the World Aquatics Championships in Fukuoka, the British Summer Championships remains hallmark at the end of the domestic swimming season, and continues to form part of a broader Performance Pathway aimed at increasing and supporting junior talent on the journey towards senior medal-winning performance, as well as offering more athletes across the Home Nations an opportunity to compete at one of the end of season events.
The highest-ranked swimmers and relay teams in each event and age group during the set Summer Championships qualifying window have been invited to compete at the event, with this including swimmers who have experienced recent success at international level, and a number of athletes who will be using the meet in preparation for upcoming U23 continental competition.
Tickets for spectators are required and are strongly advised to be purchased online via the Ticket Factory prior to attending the venue. For sessions with available capacity, tickets will be available from the ticketing desk in the Ponds Forge foyer area.
