Guy wins golds at Monaco Mare Nostrum

Double world champion James Guy continued his preparations for this summer’s World Championships in Budapest with two victories at the Monaco leg of the Mare Nostrum series.

The National Centre, Bath swimmer took the gold in the 100m Butterfly by a narrow margin over Hungary’s Laszlo Cseh before a convincing win in the 200m Freestyle which saw him take the top spot from South African Myles Brown and Australian Mack Horton.

Bath team-mate Siobhan-Marie O’Connor was also among the medals as she claimed a silver in the 200m Individual Medley.
