Guy and Peaty excels in heats

Olympic medallists James Guy and Adam Peaty put in strong performances in this morning's heats to grab lane four for their finals tonight. 

Olympic Champion Peaty put in an excellent performance in the heats of the 50m Breaststroke to put himself in a strong position for the final this evening. 

Peaty dominated his heat to secure lane four ahead of Mark Campbell (Aberdeen Dolphins) and Euan Inglis (Edinburgh  University).

Olympic medallist James Guy secured the top position in the 200m Butterfly with a strong swim that saw him lead the field through the heat. 

Fresh from last night's victory he was back and hungry for more success he is joined in the final by Joe Litchfield (City of Sheffield) and Warrington Warriors Matthew Domville. 

City of Cardiff's Chloe Tutton leads the way in the 200m Breaststroke after a strong swim that saw her beat Loughborough University's Jocelyn Ulyett. Molly Renshaw (National Centre Loughborough) lies in third place leading into the final.

European bronze medallist Kathleen Dawson (University of Stirling) is on top in the 100m Backstroke, Chris Walker-Hebborn (National Centre Bath) is in the lead in the 100m Backstroke, City of Derby's Sophie Yendell is heading up the 50m Butterfly and Olympic silver medallist Jazz Carlin will be in action in the 800m Freestyle.
