Silver swim for Guy in Dubai

British swimmers claimed more medals on the second and final day of the FINA/airweave World Cup in Dubai.

James Guy took silver in the Men’s 200m Freestyle behind South Africa’s Myles Brown and touched home ahead of Pieter Timmers of Belgium.

Compatriot Ben Proud also secured a medal as he touched home third in the Men’s 50m Freestyle and claimed bronze behind Russia’s Vladimir Morozov and Chad Le Clos of South Africa respectively.

The World Cup moves on to Doha, Qatar this weekend and then cluster three of the series heads to Far East later in October.
