Swimmers touch down in La Loma

The second in a series of 10 high altitude camps in the lead up the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games has kick started a new year of training for 15 British swimmers.

The group, comprising of swimmers from across the British Swimming podium and podium potential performance programmes, will spend three weeks at the La Loma Altitude Training Center in central Mexico.

Each camp on the road to Tokyo will target 200m plus event swimmers with an optimal age and performance profile targeting the Tokyo Games as well as those with a proven record of podium level performance continuing beyond Rio 2016.
