European record for Tai

Alice Tai (S9) broke the European record in the 100m Backstroke heat with a strong swim on the penultimate day of action at the British Para-Swimming International Meet. 

She finished in a time of 1:08.80 and is in first position with a score of 994 points. Stephanie Millward (S8) is in second position with a score of 967.

James Hollis (S10) leads the way into the 100m Butterfly final having lowered the British record in the heats. He finished in a time of 58.20 and is in first place with a score of 830. He also broke the British record in the 100m Backstroke earlier in the session. 

Stephen Clegg (S12) is closing in on his brother's 100m Butterfly British record as he finished in a time of 1:02.43 and is on the top of the rankings with a score of 859. USA's Tucker Dupree (S12) is in second spot with a score of 823. 

Tammy Cunnington (S4, Canada) swam to number one in the rankings in the 50m Butterfly. with a score of 933 after a time of 53.30. Arnost Petracek (S4, Czech Republic) is in the lead in the 50m Butterfly with a score of 890.

Rebecca Meyers (S13) is in first in the 100m Butterfly with a time of 1:05.80 and 888 points. Bethany Firth (S14) lowered the standard time with 1:05.23.
