The British Gas GBR Para-Swimming team won four golds, five silvers and three bronze medals on the fifth day of the IPC Swimming European Championships.
Sascha Kindred completed his hat trick of gold medals as he took the victory in the S6 100m Freestyle.
He impressed throughout the race to lead throughout the race and he touched in a new personal best time of 1:09.83.
Sebastian Iwanow (Germany) took the silver in 1:10.16 and Georgios Sfaltos (Greece) won bronze in 1:13.68.
Kindred was back in the pool later in the evening to win the bronze in the SB7 100m Breaststroke in a time of 1:27.28.
Also completing her golden hat trick was Susie Rodgers who claimed gold in the S7 100m Freestyle.
Rodgers was dominant throughout her race and touched in a new personal best time of 1:12.06.
Germany’s Denis Grahl won the silver in 1:15.36 and Oxana Guseva (Russia) won the bronze in 1:17.13.
Andrew Mullen won his fourth medal of the competition as he swam to victory in the S5 200m Freestyle.
[[widget1]The European champion was in second place until the final turn when he used excellent underwater work to take the lead and he pushed through the final 50m to win the race by a second.
Mullen touched in 2:46.27 with Sebastian Rodriguez (Spain) winning silver in 2:47.61. Ireland’s James Scully won bronze in 2:53.13.
“I swam really well,” Mullen said. “I stuck to the guidelines that my coach gave me and I executed it really well. I got a best time this morning and another huge PB tonight too. I am really pleased with it.
“I have always been so close to the medals so I felt this was my time to get some titles under my belt.”
Amy Marren repeated her performance from last year's IPC Swimming World Championships in Montreal with gold in the SM9 200m Individual Medley.
Spain’s Sarai Gascon lead the race out to the first turn but Marren pushed through her backstroke to move into the lead.

Marren won the gold in a time of 2:35.10 for her first European Championship gold medal.
“I am absolutely over the moon with my gold medal,” Marren said. “The time I wasn’t so happy with but it’s been a tough long season so I am just happy to come away with the same title I won at worlds.”
Teammate Steph Millward won the silver in 2:38.08 and bronze went to Gascon in 2:38.18. Claire Cashmore finished in fourth place in 2:39.81.
Double European champion Ellie Simmonds won silver in the S6 100m Freestyle after a close race which saw her finish in 1:14.49.
Tom Hamer and Jack Thomas secured silver and bronze respectively in the S14 200m Freestyle. The pair were swimming stroke for stroke until the final turn and Hamer made his move on the race.
The Manchester National Performance Centre based athlete swam a strong final 50m to put himself into the silver medal position and won his first European medal in a new personal best of 2:00.36.
Thomas repeated his Commonwealth Games achievement to win the bronze medal in 2:02.42. Craig Harris finished in sixth place in 2:05.80.
Matt Walker won silver in the S7 100m Freestyle after touching the wall in a time of 1:03.33 while Hannah Russell took the water in the S12 100m Butterfly and secured her fourth medal of the competition with silver in 1:09.91.
The women’s S14 200m Freestyle saw two Brits reach the podium with Jessica-Jane Applegate (2:08.36) and Chloe Davies (2:12.36) winning silver and bronze respectively.
Eleni Papadopoulos took her first medal at a European Championships with bronze in the SM10 200m Individual Medley. She touched in 2:36.89.
