Charlotte Henshaw clocked a European record as all five Brits qualified from their heats on day two of the Glasgow 2015 IPC Swimming World Championships at Tollcross.

Paralympic silver medallist Henshaw has been in the form of her life this season, having lowered her European SB6 100m Breaststroke marker at the Scottish National Championships in Glasgow last month.

And the 28-year old has carried that form into her third IPC Swimming World Championships, slicing 0.11 seconds off her record to qualify second fastest for tonight’s final in 1:37.45.

Australia’s SB6 50m Breaststroke world record holder Tiffany Thomas Kane booked lane four for the final in 1:36.59 while GB’s Ellie Simmonds progressed third fastest in 1:41.11, having kicked off her campaign with S6 400m Freestyle silver on the opening night in Glasgow.

European champion Claire Cashmore was also on form on day two as she booked lane four for the SB8 100m Breaststroke final.

The National Performance Centre swimmer won her heat in 1:21.76 to lead qualifiers by more than a second with Russia's Olympic and world champion Olesya Vladykina sixth fastest in 1:29.97.

Hannah Russell qualified third fastest in the SM13 200m Individual Medley with her first swim of the competition.

The 18-year old is classified in the SM12 category, but showed good form swimming up in class, qualifying as the fastest SM12 swimmer in 2:33.16 behind SM13 pair Rebecca Meyers (2:29.32) and Anna Stetsenko (2:32.92).

Finally, Tully Kearney maintained her impressive form at her second IPC Swimming World Championships, reaching her second final in as many days.

The 18-year old Boldmere swimmer won S9 400m Freestyle silver on the opening night and clocked 1:06.43 to progress sixth fastest from this morning’s S9 100m Freestyle heats.
