Paralympic, world, European and Commonwealth Champion Ollie Hynd has been recognised by the Sports Journalists Association at their annual sports awards.
Hynd has enjoyed success at every level of competition in Para-Swimming and through 2015 he broke his brother's 400m Freestyle world record at the World Championships in Glasgow.
Alongside his 400m gold he won the title in the 200m Individual Medley to compete his set of international titles.
He was today award the Bill McGowran award for Achievement in Para-Sport which he shared with Jordanne Whiley.
