Tickets and Entries launch for British Para-Swimming International Meet

9 Jan 2020

The British Para-Swimming International Meet, which incorporates a leg of the World Para Swimming World Series, will feature the world’s best para-swimmers, as they build towards the Paralympic Games.

Taking place from the 9-12th April 2020, the event returns to Ponds Forge in Sheffield, bringing together some of the world’s most decorated para-swimming stars, as well as being the most important domestic event on the para-swimming calendar. A number of Britain's top names including Alice Tai, Maisie Summers-Newton and Scott Quin will be expected to feature across the four days of action, vying for a place on the plane to Tokyo.

Last year's event saw new names burst onto the scene, as Reece Dunn and Ellie Challis broke world records in the pool, cementing their place to represent Great Britain at a first major international, with both achieving medal success at the London 2019 World Para Swimming Championships. This year, competitors will have eyes on qualification for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, and with 33 nations taking part in 2019, the event will provide world class, head-to-head racing opportunities for our British swimmers.

Tickets have now opened for the event, with full event passes priced at £24 for adults and individual sessions costing just £4 - these are all available to purchase HERE
