Elite international field to challenge BPSIM medals

With less than a month to do until the British Para-Swimming International Meet 2018 athletes from more than 30 nations are set to race in Sheffield.

The event which doubles up as the fifth and penultimate leg of the World Para Swimming 2018 World Series will see Paralympic and World Champions from the likes of the Brazil, the USA, and Ukraine take to the blocks.

The very best of British Para-Swimming will also be attendance ready to challenge the global field including Alice Tai, Ellie Robinson and Tom Hamer fresh from being crowned Commonwealth Champions on Australia’s Gold Coast last month.

Also making her return to the British Para-Swimming International Meet will be Paralympic Champion Eleanor Simmonds. Earlier in the World Series she claimed a trio of gold medals at the Indianapolis leg of the series.

In addition to the medals up for grabs this will also be the selection meet for the World Para Swimming European Championships taking place in Dublin in August.

Tickets cost just £6 for adults and £5 for concessions, with a full event pass costing just £36 for all four days.
