The U19’s squad are continuing their final preparations and will attend an intensive three day camp in Malta before arriving in Manchester to compete.
The camp will be used to test the squad against senior opposition and fine-tune game plans ahead of the tournament in Manchester.
The final 13-man team will be selected from the current seventeen strong British U19’s squad shortly and announced in the coming weeks.
Jack Buckner, British Swimming CEO said, "This European Qualifying Tournament marks another step in the re-building of competitive international water polo in Great Britain after London 2012.
With the support of British Swimming, the Men’s and Women’s senior GBR squads are now active with a long-term competitive plan, and of course, this Tournament follows the recent outstanding performance by the U17 GBR junior women in their 2017 European Competition which saw them secure 6th position in Europe."
Tickets for the three matches are now on sale and can be requested by emailing the Local Organising Committee by clicking here.
