A 17-strong contingent of British para-swimmers are ready to kick off action at the finale of the 2019 World Para Swimming World Series in Berlin.

The media accreditation process for the London 2019 World Para Swimming Championships opens today, Wednesday 12 June.

For the fourth year in a row Great Britain will host a leg of the World Para Swimming World Series in 2020, as the world’s best para-swimmers build towards the Paralympic Games.

British Swimming has today confirmed that it will take an exciting squad of experienced and up-and-coming swimmers to the 2020 World Para Swimming Open European Championships, which will take place in Funchal, Maderia in six months’ time.

Aberdeen Sports Village’s Aquatics Centre will play host to a Para Swimming World Series event in February, with the four-day competition incorporating the domestic British Para-Swimming Meet 2022.

Manchester will play host to the 11th edition of the Para Swimming World Championships from 31st July to 6th August 2023, World Para Swimming and British Swimming can today announce.

Twelve British para-swimmers are ready to take to the pool across four days of competition at Berlin’s Schwimm- und Sprunghalle in the Europasportpark (SSE).
