This year's Awards took place on 16th September, celebrating successes across the aquatic disciplines over the 2023 season.
British Swimming: The Awards, celebrated the 2023 season of aquatics disciplines - looking back at outstanding achievements across the World Aquatics Championships in Fukuoka, an unforgettable home Para Swimming World Championships in Manchester, the European Games and a host of junior continental competitions.
The Maurice Watkins Champion Athlete Award was the final trophy presented on the evening, with an independent judging panel consisting of Karen Webb Moss (British Swimming Chair), Nick Hope (Broadcaster and Writer) and Aimee Booker [nee. Willmott] (British Swimming Board Athlete Representative) having met in early September to decide on who they thought was the most deserving of this prestigious award.
