For the fourth year in a row Great Britain will host a leg of the World Para Swimming World Series in 2020, as the world’s best para-swimmers build towards the Paralympic Games.

British Swimming has today confirmed that it will take an exciting squad of experienced and up-and-coming swimmers to the 2020 World Para Swimming Open European Championships, which will take place in Funchal, Maderia in six months’ time.

In another edition of the virtual cooking sessions in partnership with Yutaka & ConnectwithJapan, British Para-Swimming athletes were guided through the recipe for the traditional Japanese dish Sukiyaki.

Aberdeen Sports Village’s Aquatics Centre will play host to a Para Swimming World Series event in February, with the four-day competition incorporating the domestic British Para-Swimming Meet 2022.

Manchester will play host to the 11th edition of the Para Swimming World Championships from 31st July to 6th August 2023, World Para Swimming and British Swimming can today announce.
