The British Championships attract the best swimmers from across the British Isles and this year’s event will double as British selection trials.

British Swimming is pleased to announce that the 2020 British Swimming Championships will make the move back to the London Aquatics Centre and will welcome more competitors than ever before.

The British Swimming Glasgow Meet is taking place at the Tollcross International Swimming Centre from 3rd-6th June. The event will showcase the best of Britain's elite aquatics athletes, just seven weeks out from the Tokyo Olympic Games and 11 weeks from the start of the Paralympic Games.

Ponds Forge International Sports Centre will play host to the British Swimming Championships in April 2022 - British Swimming's flagship domestic meet ahead of a packed international summer for the sport.

Our flagship domestic swimming event will again be hosted at the Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, running for six days from 4th-9th April 2023 and playing a key role in the selection process for July's World Aquatics Championships in Fukuoka.

From Monday 6th July, a number of Britain’s leading para-swimmers will be returning to the water following the principles set out by the DCMS’ ‘Elite sport return to training guidance: Step One’ (ESRTT).

To mark International Day of People with Disabilities 2022 on Saturday 3rd December, we spoke to five of our world-class para-swimming athletes on the importance of their sport and the how their own experiences within the world of aquatics have affected their lives, careers and impairments.
