The 2020 FINA Diving World Series flies into action in Montreal this weekend, with the British team looking to lay down a marker as the Olympic Games close in.
The Centre Sportif au Parc Olympique - which hosted the summer Games in 1976 - will provide the backdrop for the opening leg of this year's series, with a 10-strong team of Brits set to be in attendance.
Tom Daley and Jack Laugher clinched the overall Men's 10m Platform and 3m Springboard titles respectively in 2019, and they are scheduled to begin the defences of those crowns over the three days of competition.
Laugher will also link up with Daniel Goodfellow in the Men's 3m Synchro, while Daley partners Grace Reid in the Mixed 3m Synchro - an event in which they won gold at the London leg last May after taking silver in Montreal.
Reid's schedule additionally includes the Women's 3m Springboard and Synchro contests, Kat Torrance going alongside her in the latter of those.
Lois Toulson and Eden Cheng - who made her World Series debut in Japan in 2019 - are Britain's pairing for the Women's 10m Synchro event, while Matty Lee and Noah Williams will contest the Men's 10m Synchro, with Robyn Birch returning from last weekend's FINA Grand Prix in Rostock to partner Williams in the Mixed 10m Synchro.
72 divers from the following 12 countries will be attending the initial meet of the 2020 FINA/CNSG Diving World Series: Australia, Canada, Germany, Great Britain, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Russia, Ukraine and United States. The notable absence in this first leg is the Chinese team, affected by the worldwide disruption caused by the coronavirus outbreak.
