Kathryn Greenslade has been selected for the LEN European Short Course Championships in Copenhagen, Denmark next month.
Greenslade (University of Edinburgh) will compete in the Freestyle and Backstroke events having impressed at the BUCS Short Course meet earlier this month.
She will replace Max Litchfield (City of Sheffield) who will be focusing on improving his fitness ahead of the Commonwealth Games in April.
The team will be led by World Champions Duncan Scott, Ben Proud, and Adam Peaty supported by a group of younger athletes looking to take their place within the senior set up.
Team Leader and Head Coach for the event Tim Jones said, “Kathryn has put in some strong performances in recent competitions, so this is her chance to gain big event experience and develop arena skills – whilst being part of a squad with proven medal winners.
“We will be working with Max to ensure he is in prime condition for the Commonwealths and the Glasgow 2018 European Championships.”
